Tucked away on the 4th floor of Orchard Towers, unless you’re a foodie like me, you’re probably never gonna chance on this awesome Thai eatery. Don’t be fooled by the standard of this place given it’s location and the surrounding (sleazy) pubs/karaoke lounges.
First must have for every Thai meal, Tom Yam (Clear) Soup.
For Tom Yam Soup (SGD 10), you’ve an option to choose either chicken/seafood/prawns. We decided to go for prawns and were extremely satisfied. The soup was definitely spicy with enough prawns and mushrooms. Portion was more than generous for 2. The soup is served with a piping hot warmer which is another plus. Highly recommended for tom yam soup fans!
Pandan Chicken (SGD 10) was well prepared with the pandan leaves adding flavour to the tender chicken pieces. The sweet Thai chilli with the chicken is just a perfect combination!
Long beans with garlic (SGD 6) was prepared with oyster sauce base. We requested it to be prepared spicier (i.e. with sambal) which wasn’t too bad.
Phad Thai (SGD 5) is prepared with flat rice noodle and nicely stir fried with eggs, prawns, bean sprouts. For those of you who doesn’t like your noodles moist, you might wanna opt for another type of noodles.
For drinks, their Thai Lime Juice (SGD 2) tastes pretty authentic. Must try!
Dinner costed SGD 35 for 2 pax.
