We have this innate tendency to be everything for the people you love or care deeply about. Some term such people as selfless, heroic or at times, even likened to a martyr. You turn yourself into someone, everyone around you looks up to. You avoid doing anything that makes people judge you or even have a doubt about the way your character is stitched. It makes you feel good about yourself knowing that people look up to you. It forces you to put your grievances aside to be there for someone who matters. To be the stronger one. The one who can shoulder anything and everything that comes his way. It makes the people take your strength for granted and lean on you. Plus, on most days it gets tiring and highly pretentious. So quit being who someone else wants you to be, and be who you need to be for no one; but yourself.
