Itacho Sushi, Singapore.

My friend suggested heading down to Itacho Sushi for dinner last week as I was craving sushi and it was awesome! No regrets at all!

sushi galore!

Itacho Sushi serves pretty affordable sushi, especially if you’re a salmon lover. Another plus is that the sushi size is bigger than most other places I’ve tried.

Apart from some sushi on almost 50% off, there is happy hour between 2.3opm and 5.30pm and 9.00pm to last order on weekdays where some sushi go for 80cents. I tried the Avacado Tuna Cheese Roll which was good and a STEAL for 80 cents! However, this promotion is only applicable to Itacho’s Jcube (Jurong East) outlet. Good news for West siders!

Apart from the usual sushi, this baked stuffed crab (SGD 6) which was listed under Itacho’s recommendation caught our attention so my friends and I decided to give it a try. The filling was mostly crab meat and mushrooms. It tasted pretty good, except I didn’t feel like I was eating Japanese food as it tasted like Western cuisine to me. Nonetheless, worth the try.

Dinner for 3 costed about SGD 50. Given the variety of sushi we ordered, it was pretty worth it. I’m definitely going back here the next time I’ve a sushi craving to fix.

Itacho has other outlets around the island at ION Orchard, Plaza Singapura, Bugis Junction, Changi Airport T3 and The Star Vista (Bouna Vista) apart from the one I patroned at Jcube.
